Defter
Voice notes don't work
iPhone: check Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone › Defter. The first voice note downloads Apple's speech model for your language, so you need an internet connection once.
Android: check Settings › Apps › Defter › Permissions › Microphone. Defter only uses your phone's on-device speech recognition, so your language's on-device speech pack must be installed. If it is not available, you can type instead.
I don't get the evening reminder
Allow notifications for Defter in your phone settings and pick a time in Defter's settings. On Android the reminder can arrive a few minutes late, and battery-saving modes may delay it.
Can I export my notes?
Yes. Settings › Export as Markdown, then share the file wherever you like.
Will my notes move to a new phone?
iPhone: yes, with iCloud sync or an iPhone backup. Android: Defter turns off Android's automatic backup, so use Export as Markdown to keep a copy.
MD Notes
How do I move notes in or out?
Use the import and export options for .md files. The app uses the system file picker and only reads what you select.
How do I delete my data?
Delete notes inside the app. On iPhone and iPad, deleted notes leave the Trash after 30 days. To remove everything, uninstall the app, or on Android clear the app's storage in Settings.
Ghost Labyrinth
Do I need an account?
No. The app creates a random anonymous ID on first launch. Uninstalling the app removes the ID from your device.
