Recipe Scaler Privacy Policy
Recipe Scaler is a recipe servings scaling app developed by Nitronium. This page explains what the app does with your data. The short version: it collects none, and nothing leaves your device.
No account, no data collection
Recipe Scaler has no account, sign-in, name, email or password. The app does not collect, store on a server, sell or share any personal data. It has no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting.
No internet access
The app does not request the internet permission or any other permission. It cannot send data anywhere on its own.
What stays on your device
The ingredient text you paste or type is used only to calculate the scaled list on the screen. It is never saved.
Only two numbers are kept on your device, in the app's private storage: the servings the recipe makes and the servings you want. They let the next recipe start where you left off. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app removes them.
Sharing
When you tap Share, the app creates a plain text copy of the scaled list and hands it to the Android share sheet. You choose which app receives it. Recipe Scaler does not receive or keep that text.
Children
The app is a general utility and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
